Parental Awareness Network (PAN) is a ground-breaking national initiative. PAN’s mission is to engage, empower and inform Hispanic parents across the nation on the importance of graduation and to provide these parents with the awareness, tools and resources needed to help Hispanic students receive the quality education they deserve.
PAN launched a recruitment campaign to enlist and enroll Hispanic parents in a national parental awareness movement on school choice by hosting parent forums in various key states, communicate with at-risk Hispanic students in K-12 education and develop a strategic alliance with parent organizations across the nation.
By empowering, engaging and informing Hispanic parents on the importance of education and the resources, tools and educational options available to them, PAN works to improve educational outcomes of Hispanic students.
PAN sends out a monthly email to parents with tons of information on school choice, parental involvement, events and current events.
In the coming months, PAN is developing a texting campaign to keep parents informed on events in their area and helpful parental involvement tips.
