Gov. Mitt Romney: Our Kids Can't Succeed in Failing Schools
Presidential candidate, Governor Mitt Romney addressed the NALEO 29th Annual Conference today at the Contemporary Convention Center in Orlando.
He briefly spoke about the importance of improving education and presenting parental choice as a solution.
According to a Hispanic CREO poll, education is a priority to Latino voters and 58 percent of the Latino voters want to hear presidential candidates speak about improving education.
Addressing that students cannot succeed in failing schools, the presidential candidate proposed to grant parents of every low-income and special needs students options to choose where their child will attend school.
"When it comes to education, a choice for every parent means a chance for every child," said Gov. Romney.
